Impact of roadworks around the Bijlokesite

Due to roadworks on the ring around Gent, near to the Bijlokesite, there are fewer parking spaces available. So please calculate extra time if you are travelling to the Bijlokesite by car.

  • Parking spaces on Godshuizenlaan and Henleykaai remain accessible as before. Please note: most parking spaces on Godshuizenlaan towards Louis Pasteurlaan are reserved for buses.
  • Bijlokekaai is only accessible from Ekkergem (follow the diversion: Martelaarslaan > turn left at the Delhaize traffic lights > turn straight onto Bijlokevest > continue straight on until Kluyskensstraat > Bijlokekaai). You can reach Martelaarslaan via the ring (R4), taking the Drongen exit.
